Radiation safety
The course is intended for people who work in laboratories where radioactive materials are handled. It provides an overview of different sources of radiation, the basic principles of radiation protection, responsibilities, working practices and related topics.
The course is also useful for others, such as users of X-ray fluorescence equipment for chemical analysis (XRF) and radioactive materials used in Category C activities, including radiation sources in hazard categories 4–5.
